About Founder – Ashutosh Mashruwala

Ashutosh Mashruwala has more than 30 years of professional experience. Most recently, Ashutosh was with TIBCO software (www.tibco.com) for 5 years starting from inception of Pune office. He helped TIBCO set up and start Pune centre and then supported it's growth till February 2009 reaching the headcount of more than 225. He helped TIBCO operations to set up number of functions very effectively in the Pune centre e.g. R&D, Professional Services, Marketing, Engineering Support etc. in addition to outsourced functions in support services. Focus Areas – Build up Pune development centre and organization development for growth of the centre, Hire to establish India consulting and practice centre as centre of excellence, Create Brand Equity for TIBCO amongst Indian software professionals, Develop strategic partnership programs with academia, Develop HR strategies in consultation with US management, set up HR processes and practices, Establish and roll out Compensation and Benefits programs.

Prior to working with TIBCO, Ashutosh was with Selectica Software (www.selectica.com) for more than 4 years, where he helped Selectica grow from 80 to 450 headcount in their India operations, within a year during the boom time of year 2000. During this time he helped Selectica set up one more unit at Chennai. Focus areas – Partner in developing HR strategies with Top Management for India operations. Recruitment, Induction, Mentoring, Creating Organizational culture, Academia relationships, Soft Skill Training, OD, Retention, Performance Management and Excellence, Compensation Management, Operations & Administration.

Before this, Ashutosh worked with Magic Software and Ispat Industries. Prior to working in corporate world, Ashutosh served with Indian Air Force for 22 years, where he was Wing Commander, and took voluntary retirement. Ashutosh received commendation from Chief of the Air Staff for exceptional services. He served at Leh (Ladakh) airport for 2.5 years in the early 90's when militancy in that area was at it's peak.

Ashutosh holds an MBA having majored in Human Resources and Marketing, from Pune University and Honours degree in Physics, from Mumbai University.
